Set & Atmosphere – 9
A sci-fi flex: interactive screens, futuristic decor, a custom alphabet, and major Guardians of the Galaxy vibes. Well-crafted props and clever spatial tricks make the room feel much larger than it is.
Story & Immersion – 8
A basic hero-vs-villain rebellion plot, but it works well in context. The world’s lore, gadgets, and even a few hidden easter eggs make it easy to buy into the setting and play along.
Puzzles & Mechanics – 7
Clever mechanisms with plenty of parallel solving opportunities, but there’s a heavy reliance on digital touchscreens. Navigating text-heavy menus slowed the pace and pulled us out of the physical experience at times.
Flow – 7
Progression felt smooth with no major bottlenecks, though at times you had to follow tablet correspondences to keep things moving. Larger groups may have moments of downtime, so a team of four might keep the action tighter.
Verdict – 7.75
An immersive escape room that nails the visuals and vibe but loses a smidge to iPad duty. Still, the cinematic set design and polished flow make this a must-play for sci-fi fans in Paris.
