Set & Atmosphere – 7
This room’s biggest flex is authenticity: it’s located in a real former bank vault, and the scale and physicality of the space are unforgettable. The start of the game is also especially memorable — one of the most unique introductions for a room that we've seen.
Story & Immersion – 5
The Vault leans more on its environment than narrative. There’s minimal lore to tie things together, and beyond the spectacle of the real vault and fun beginning, the immersion fades quickly.
Puzzles & Mechanics – 8
Prepare to work if you're going in as two! Parallelism is heavy, with multiple modules that can be solved simultaneously. The puzzles themselves are tricky but satisfying, with a good mix of logic and a few physical challenges that make smart use of the environment.
Flow – 7
The vastness of the space means there’s a lot of ground to cover, but it may also feel a bit bare as a duo. Teams of 4-ish that thrive on dividing and conquering will love it though! The finale doesn’t quite match the room’s strong beginning, but progression is smooth enough to keep momentum.
Verdict – 6.75
The Vault is a unique, puzzle-packed experience set in a one-of-a-kind location. While the immersion and flow aren’t as strong as The Alchemist, the sheer scale of the space and the satisfaction of conquering its many challenges make it worthwhile — especially if you’re already visiting.
